The HAU Community is a haven of history and knowledge.
Honored Among Us's goal is to provide an opportunity to remember and honor our military heroes and their stories. In doing that, Honored Among Us wants to document and preserve (via written documents, podcast, video) our heroes' knowledge and experiences on an individual basis and a more general historical basis (e.g. military base history, military award history, military vocabulary, etc.)
Honored Among Us presents an environment where heroes can connect with all those that have served.
- To share stories and reminisce of the glorious days heroes once lived. To record a digital memoir that all may find and look in awe.
- To tell their story to the world to be remembered, from their first deployment to their last final salute. The more stories we can acquire the more we will be able to produce a clearer and more in-depth American History.
- To be able to communicate with their all those who have served, all who share the same passion to be heard. To be able to tell their stories for ages to come. To become the legend they sought out to be.
We hope to bring folks together where we all can each rely on each other for a sense of community. Honored Among Us hopes to provide this haven.
